Now in its 8th year, Blackout Weekend is taking the party on the road to Lake Tahoe for it's 2015 trip. Long held as the ultimate snow adventure, Blackout Weekend offers young, snow sport loving professionals the opportunity ski or snowboard together by day and party by night. With a full schedule of parties, networking mixers, meet ups and daytime activities even non skiers and snowboarders will have a great time with our group which attracts professionals from all over California and beyond. Will transportation be provided to Lake Tahoe?

No. Participants will have to provide their own transportation to Lake Tahoe. The closest airport is in Reno.

Are lift tickets and ski/snowboarding equipment included in the price?

No. You will responsible for all costs outside of event wristbands. Those outside costs include mountain activities, food and beverages, shopping, etc. 2014 Lift tickets currently started at $89, click here for rates on current lift tickets

What if I don't ski/snowboard?

If you want to try out a new sport, click here for lessons! If not there are plenty of other activities including; snowmobiles, ice skating, tubbing, gondola rides, carriage & sleigh rides and more. Also enjoy Vegas style gambling. There is also plenty of local shopping including an outlet mall with Ralph Lauren and Coach.

How will rooming be assigned?

You will book directly with the hotel.


What if I need a roommate?

If you are looking for a roommate you can use our facebook page to post roommate notices.

How many people can sleep in a room?

Standard rooms either have 1 or 2 beds and can accommodate 2 to 4 persons depending on the number of beds in that room.

What should I bring?

Skis/Snowboards (also available for rental on the Mountain); Waterproof shoes; Gloves, Hats and Scarves; A heavy Coat ; Snow-wear (Ski pants, thermal shirt, sweaters/sweatshirts, snow socks, etc) ; Sunglasses/shades (if the sun reflects off the snow, it is very bright); Sunscreen (if you are not properly covered, the sun reflecting off the snow can cause sunburn) Party attire ; Anything else that you can think of…..

Is the trip refundable?

No. However your wristband is. transferable, If you are no longer able to attend, you may sell your wristband. All we ask is that you inform us of who will be taking your place and you have them contact us. Hotel and transportation will follow rules set by your chosen providers.
